Hi Cineshorters! I’m Marina Zibert, a director based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 2021, I founded the Kids Development and Creativity Center. Through my work there, I’ve come to notice some of the developmental challenges children face, such as dyslexia. My love for both children and cinema inspired me to write and direct my debut short film, SABYR, in collaboration with Damir Tanatov.
